Audibly Transparent

I've used cable from Fiio, Chord and van den Hul and each had a noticable quality about it. This cable seems truly transparent. Detail such as backing brass and vocals are more distinct, instruments in the orchestra are heard precisely placed and though previously I've been a 'wire sceptic' (I mean, wire is wire... right?), I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Crystal clear

I bought a new amp that only had XLR connectors and had previously been using the RAC Ruby RCA interconnects for several years. I have tried a few interconnects in that time and always preferred the Ruby interconnects.

Part of the motivation for choosing the RAC XLR interconnects was to try to minimise the number of changes in the system with the new amp, however there is no Ruby version in XLR only Diamond. Because I don't have any other XLR cables to compare with it is very difficult to analyse them. However I did try the Ruby RCA cables with an adaptor on the amp.

I would say that the Diamond cables do have a different character, the Ruby are a tad warmer, but the Diamond cables provide a much cleaner almost crystal-like sound. Very impressive and is letting the gear shine through.

Pleased I moved up in the range

Previously used a Sapphire level RCA cable between my Amp and CD player but thought I would give the XLR a shot as my system has the balanced inputs. Very happy I made the switch as the Diamond Range cable has brought a depth and clarity to the sound that has only continued to 'mature' as more hours go onto the cables.
