Brilliant cables

I recently purchased a pair of RAC Elite Silver “Naked” XLRs and a pair of Tellurium q Black Diamond XLRs for comparison as I was at the stage of making a final call on my interconnects. This was my email to Warwick…

“I was able to compare your Naked up against a Tellurium q Black Diamond XLRs. After about 75 hours burn in, I couldn't say that one cable was better than the other, even though the Tellurium is twice the price. The Tellurium was beautifully rich in the mids and bass whilst still being detailed. The Nakeds though, even at this stage surpassed the Telluriums in the treble. Just more beauty in the highs, quieter, more clarity and staging.

After 400 hours, both cables sounded beautiful and significantly better than another couple of other equivalent cables from other companies I managed to borrow from friends. Could I say that one was better than the other, not really. Between these I think it is more a matter of sound preference and system matching. The Naked’s are quieter, have greater clarity with magical treble/mids. The Tellurium have more body in the mid/treble. Both beautiful and definitely the Naked’s are at least equal and in many ways surpass much more expensive company. They definitely need more burn in than the Tellurium q. My personal decision, I went with Warwick’s Naked Elites.
